The short version: I help companies create, build and talk about their brands.

The longer version:
I've been a freelance marketing writer for seven years. Before that, I was a Senior Writer at the international branding consultancy Landor Associates, and I was a Senior Copywriter at GSD&M and Ogilvy & Mather.

My portfolio includes projects of every size and scope, for dozens of companies in almost every business imaginable: AT&T, Citi, Coca-Cola, Disney, FedEx, GE, HP, Intel, Lilly, Marriott, Microsoft, MillerCoors, Mint, P&G, Safeway, Schwab, Southwest Airlines, Visa — you name it. From the highest-level marketing thinking down to the copy on the back of the package, I've done it all.

Branding and design firms like IDEO, Interbrand, Landor and Trinity often hire me to help name companies, create their taglines, even write their websites. Clients also hire me directly. I've written dozens of web pages for Mint.com, brochures and backgrounders for Amherst Securities, TV commercials for Infineon Raceway. Along the way, I've won awards from Cannes, Clio, Effie and ADDY, a couple NY Art Directors Golds and even a One Show Gold Pencil.
