I helped established Mint's voice in its early startup days, writing web content, product copy, blog posts, emails, you name it. The company was later acquired by Intuit for $170 million. Was it because of the copy I wrote? Maybe. Did I get a few of those millions? No, I was a freelancer. But I got to keep writing for them during the transition.
